The Indo-Caribbean Special Collection
In collaboration with Queens Library, we created and maintain the Indo-Caribbean Special Collection at the Lefferts Branch. The Collection offers students, scholars, and residents access to educational materials about Indo-Caribbean history, health, business, politics and an array of topics. The books are also appropriate for different age groups. Many are donated personally by the authors themselves. We host regular book readings, performances, and activities like cooking classes that highlight items from the Collection.
To browse the collection, visit Queens Library. Follow our social media pages for information on upcoming programs and events.
